1. Structure:
The instrument consists of an instrument body and two measuring instrument units. The main body of the instrument consists of four parts: the base shell, power system, transmission system (motor, reducer), and pointer system.
The two measuring instrument units mainly consist of two parts: sensors (drum) and measuring instruments (thermostat).
2. Working principle:
The instrument is automatically driven by a miniature synchronous motor and rotates at a specified constant speed. The motor casing is suspended on the support shaft and can rotate freely. The output shaft of the motor drives the rotating drum to rotate. When the rotary drum rotates in the measured liquid, it is subjected to the viscous resistance of the liquid, generating a reaction force that causes the motor housing to deflect, thereby generating torque in the metal balance spring connected to the motor housing. When the torque of the balance spring is balanced with the viscous resistance of the liquid, the pointer connected to the motor housing points to a certain value on the dial, and this value multiplied by the drum factor represents the magnitude of the dynamic viscosity.
